The mission of the NGP's' Women's Ministry is to encourage every lady to serve one another in love, assemble in fellowship, and draw out every gift and supply, using edification and exhortation.
The Women's Ministry, known as the M&M Ministry, puts prayer first and foremost in their planning of any event, because they believe prayer is the foundation on which to build. From Ladies' Conferences with special speakers to various times of fun activities, the ladies of the church are provided with numerous avenues to join in fellowship and to grow personally and spiritually. Every lady needs someone to share "girl talk" with!
Some of the various activities of M&M include:
- Cooking classes @ Marketstreet
- Mother/daughter banquet (served by the men!)
- Other activities include: bake sales, ladies shopping trips to outlet malls, swim parties, ladies tea parties & pampering days, etc.
In 2007, the M&M team will have their own "outreach days" of ministering at nursing homes, hospitals, etc. Check out the calendar for these scheduled events.
The M&M Ministry stands for the Mary & Martha Ministry, which is overseen
by Donna McKeehan & staff.
